Weipa, Lorim Point track maintenance compound, the only ballast waggon in the rollingstock fleet is R 4003. Comeng Qld supplied a ballast waggon in 1971 (ordered in Feb 1971, delivered in Sept 1971), you can see the Comeng plate on the left hand end of the waggon frame, but this waggon does looks more like an American import.
