Also noticeable, the units don't have dynamic brakes fitted so there is no brake 'blister' in the middle of the hood like the WAGR L or VR C classes which are also GT26C models.

Also noticeable, the units don't have dynamic brakes fitted so there is no brake 'blister' in the middle of the hood like you see on the WAGR L or VR C classes which are also GT26C models.

210-1023 viewsLorim Point, Weipa, workshops. Comalco shunt engine R1003, an Electro Motive built NW2 model, serial no. 4114, frame no. E761-8 and built November 1946 originally for Canadian National as 7943, then sold to Comalco in December 1975. This unit was scrapped in 2000.
