070527 9223 West Kalgoorlie, OPC 397, originally built by South Australian Railways Islington Workshops in 1963 as an 8300 class brake van numbered 8349 on broad gauge, recoded in 1982 to AVAY 50, to standard gauge in Feb 1983 as AVAY 397, converted to AZXP accident van in Feb 1986 and then in Feb 1993 recoded to OPC.
