Nelson Point, BHP's 9002, a brand new Wabtec built FLXdrive ™ battery electric locomotive, or BEL, was delivered to site on November 16, 2025. The BEL's, 9001 and 9002 were built by Wabtec at their Erie, Pennsylvania, USA plant and are designated as model FXH70C. Both locos were shipped on the BBC St Petersburg and road transport provided by Tutt Bryant. 9002 has serial number 66454 and a built date of Dec 2023.
