The line is 5510, 5506, 5508, 5512, 5513, 5507, 5509, 5511, and, 5513. They had recently been displaced due to the arrival of the AC6000 units which also took their name plates. Rebuilt in 1987 at Goninan's Welshpool factory from 1969 AE Goodwin built ALCo C636 with serial number G6035-4 and road number 5463 and assigned new serial number 4839-08 / 87-076. It was delivered in Mt Newman Mining orange and was named Port Hedland. 551 holds the dubious honour of being the first unit withdrawn following an engine failure in 1998. 22nd April 2000.Nov 12, 2020
