061209 8231r677 viewsSeven Mile 38 Road, former Robe River AE Goodwin built ALCo M636 unit 9416 serial G6046-16 awaits a new owner. 9416 was originally built for Hamersley Iron as #4045 and was purchased by Robe right before shipping to Hamersley Iron and entered service in February 1973. The ducting on the hood is the air to air intercooler modifications that Robe trialled. Also of note is the unit is fitted with an ALCo C630 fuel tank, swapped when the C630 units were rebuilt into the CM40-8M units. 9th of December 2006.
