060416 3478r658 viewsNelson Point Locomotive Service Shop, BHP Billiton's class leader of the Electro-Motive built SD70ACe/LC locomotive 4300 serial 20038540-001 which was actually purchased as a spare parts source, sits in the shed during commissioning, of note is that it has no windscreen protectors fitted. 16th April 2006. This unit was subsequently stripped and then the frame and cab eventually scrapped in January 2016 without ever hauling a train.

Boodarie Yard has just been expanded and the fence has since been put back up. 10th July 2006. Several years later both these locos and the HBI Plant in the background would all be gone!
