The locos are at the 0.0 km and the loaded rake can be seen in the background. 25th May 2008.

Bought by Robe River in January 1975, rebuilt by Goninan in 1990. Sunday 9th January 2005.

213-04431 viewsWeipa, Lorim Point workshops, Comalco R 1001 loco Clyde Engineering built EMD model GT26C serial 72-752 sits at the fuel point, items of note are these units were setup to have the long hood leading, the second 'tropical roof' and the five chime horn cut into the nose. Also noticeable, the units don't have dynamic brakes fitted so there is no brake 'blister' in the middle of the hood like you see on the GT26C models of WAGR L or VR C classes. September 1995.

050111 090411r430 viewsSeven Mile, Goninan ALCo to GE rebuild C36-7M units 5052 'Ben' serial 4839-04 / 87-073 and 5051 'Bill' serial 4839-03 / 87-072 lead an empty consist across Anchovy Flats from Parker Point. Tuesday 11th January 2005. These two locos started life as ALCo C636 units for Mt Newman Mining, then rebuilt by Goninan for BHP into the C36-7M, upon retiring Goninan overhauled them and they have been in service at Seven Mile for eight years and are still stored there.
