080116 1365215 viewsChapman Siding at the 69 km on FMG's under construction line to Cloud Break mine, new waggons stabled in the passing track awaiting service, built by China Southern or CSR at their Zhuzhou Rolling Stock Works in China in 2007, here slave waggon 1395 and master waggon 2396 sit in the arvo sunlight. The yellow circle indicates the rotary coupler end and the tare weight of the slave waggon at 22.6 tonnes, while the master weighs 22.9 tonnes as it hosts the brake control equipment. 16th January 2008.

200914 7764215 viewsPilbara Railways Historical Society, Goldsworthy Mining Ltd B class unit 1, an English Electric built ST95B model, originally built in 1965 serial A-104, due to accident damage rebuilt on new frame with serial A-232 in 1970. These units of Bo-Bo design with a 6CSRKT 640 kW prime mover and built at the Rocklea Qld plant. Donated to Society in 1995. 14th September 2020.

247-08215 viewsCape Lambert fuel point, Robe River locomotive 9414 which is a Goninan WA ALCo to GE rebuild CM40-8M with serial 8206-11 / 91-124 from November 1991 riding on Dofasco bogies and was originally an AE Goodwin built M636 ALCo built new for Robe in December 1971 and numbered 262.005, later numbered 1714. Everything below the frame is ALCo while above is GE and Pilbara Cab. Approximate location of the locos is here. 22nd May 2002.

247-11215 viewsCape Lambert, Robe River's 9426 a Comeng WA rebuild from ALCo Schenectady NY model C636 serial 3499-3 originally built in January 1968 for Pennsylvania as #6332, Penn Central 6332 and finally Conrail 6782. Purchased in 1986 and rebuilt by Comeng WA into C636R before delivery to Robe in November 1986. This loco also went on to become DR 8401 for construction of FMG's railway in 2007-08. Seen here in the South Yard dragging a loaded rake down to the car dumper. Approximate location of train is here. 22nd May 2002.

267-23215 viewsGoldsworthy Junction, CM40-8M GE rebuild unit 5634 'Boodarie' serial number 8151-07 / 91-120 turns on the power as it passes Goldsworthy Junction relay room and continues along the Newman Mainline with the Sundowner and sister unit 5653. The realigned former Goldsworthy line to the Yarrie and Nimingarra mines can be seen curving away to the left in front of 5634. Friday 12th of April 2002.

147-34214 viewsSeymour loco depot, stabled train, former Joint Stock Sleeper, No.10 Sleeper 'LODDON' at the fuel point, originally built in 1907 and called 'MELBOURNE', renamed in 1910, removed from Joint Stock in 1969 and named No. 10, then around 1984 renamed 'LODDON' in 'Train of Knowledge' service, with another Joint Stock Sleeper 'Pekina' and what looks like 'Carey'. This would no doubt be the 'Train of Knowledge'.
