070527 9164393 viewsParkeston; Pacific National RZDY type crew accommodation car RZDY 106 'Bittern' on train 6MP4 originally built by SAR Islington Workshops as a Bluebird railcar driving trailer in 1958 named 'Britten', in 1986 numbered 106, in 1990 converted to locomotive hauled and coded as BR type BR 106, written off in 1995 and sold off. In 1998 it was numbered 812. It was owned by a number of owners and then CFCLA. In 2006 converted to a Pacific National crew car.
