Budd in 1939 numbered 301 as the Silver Star, a diner-parlour-observation coach on the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad's General Pershing Zephyr train from the 1930s and 1940s. Donated to Mt Newman Mining Co. by AMAX an original joint venture partner to commemorate the projects first 100 million tonnes of iron ore railed between Mount Whaleback mine and the Port Hedland port. 12th of April 2002.

RT 40 was built in June 1967 at Ballarat North Workshops using the underframe of 1905 built I type I 7539 with was recoded to IA type in 1936. The RY started life in 1933 built as an IZ type, July 1966 recoded to RY.

147-34111 viewsSeymour loco depot, stabled train, former Joint Stock Sleeper, No.10 Sleeper 'LODDON' at the fuel point, originally built in 1907 and called 'MELBOURNE', renamed in 1910, removed from Joint Stock in 1969 and named No. 10, then around 1984 renamed 'LODDON' in 'Train of Knowledge' service, with another Joint Stock Sleeper 'Pekina' and what looks like 'Carey'. This would no doubt be the 'Train of Knowledge'.

100822 6275111 viewsWOB type iron ore waggon WOB 31400 is one of a batch of twenty five built by Comeng WA between 1974 and 1975 and converted from Mt Newman high sided waggons by WAGR Midland Workshops with a capacity of 67 tons with fleet number 324 for Koolyanobbing iron ore operations. This waggon was also converted to a WSM type ballast hopper by re-fitting the cut down top section and having bottom discharge doors fitted, converted back to WOB in 1998, on empty train 1416 at Hampton, 22nd August 2010.

060531 5021111 viewsWest Kalgoorlie, AOPY 32376, fleet number 919, one of seventy ex ANR coal waggons rebuilt from AOKF type by Bluebird Engineering SA in service with ARG on Koolyanobbing iron ore trains. They used to be three metres longer and originally built by Metropolitan Cammell Britain as GB type in 1952-55, 31st May 2006.
