Other codes carried were NQDX, NKDX then RKXX before 70 tonne bogies were fitted in 1995 for the current code. 31st May 2016 at West Kalgoorlie.

060530 484261 viewsParkeston, SCT VPAY type crew accommodation car VPAY 2 'Great Artesian' on train 2PM9, built by Tulloch Ltd NSW in 1968 as a narrow gauge brake van with sleeping accommodation as NHRD type NHRD 79, converted to standard gauge in 1981 and coded HRD type HRD 361. Recoded to AVDY in October 1982, then to AVDP. Sold to WCR, then in October 2000 overhauled for crew car use and coded VPAY 1 on SCT services and owned by Freight Australia. Was later sold to Pacific National and subsequently scrapped 2016.

070528 927061 viewsParkeston, Pacific National RZAY type crew accommodation car RZAY 283 on train 4PM6 was built by Comeng NSW as an ARJ type stainless steel air conditioned first class roomette sleeping car ARJ 283 in 1972, sold to National Rail and converted to a crew car in 1997. Destroyed at the Golden Ridge derailment in January 2009.

070529 935461 viewsParkeston; Pacific National RZDY type crew accommodation car RZDY 103 'Ibis' on train 2PM6 originally built by SAR Islington Workshops as a Bluebird railcar driving trailer in 1956 named 'Ibis', in 1986 numbered 103, in 1990 converted to locomotive hauled and coded as BR type BR 103, written off in 1995 and sold off. It was owned by a number of owners and finally in 2006 converted to a Pacific National crew car.
