060116 2639314 viewsWest Kalgoorlie, Pacific National BRS type crew accommodation coach BRS 223, originally built by Victorian Railways Newport Workshops in November 1949 as an AS type first class sitting car for the Spirit of Progress AS 12, in July 1953 converted to The Overland traffic as ABS type ABS 1 then in October 1972 converted back to AS 12, in June 1983 converted to a combined sitting accommodation and a mini refreshment service as BRS type BRS 3, then in September 1985 renumbered to BRS 223. Sold to West Coast Railway mid 1990s, converted to crew car after 2005.

060528 4445314 viewsWest Kalgoorlie, Australian Southern Railroad ECA type crew accommodation car ECA 98, originally built for the Commonwealth Railways by Wegmann & Co. in West Germany in 1955 as the ARF type first class air conditioned sleeper with rounded observation end ARF 98, rebuilt and recoded in 1972 without the observation end as BB type BB 98. Converted to a crew car in 1991.

070527 9168314 viewsParkeston; Pacific National RZDY type crew accommodation car RZDY 106 'Bittern' on train 6MP4 originally built by SAR Islington Workshops as a Bluebird railcar driving trailer in 1958 named 'Britten', in 1986 numbered 106, in 1990 converted to locomotive hauled and coded as BR type BR 106, written off in 1995 and sold off. In 1998 it was numbered 812. It was owned by a number of owners and then CFCLA. In 2006 converted to a Pacific National crew car.

070529 9472314 viewsKalgoorlie, SCT VPAY type crew accommodation car VPAY 2 'Great Artesian' on train 2PM9, built by Tulloch Ltd NSW in 1968 as a narrow gauge brake van with sleeping accommodation as NHRD type NHRD 79, converted to standard gauge in 1981 and coded HRD type HRD 361. Recoded to AVDY in October 1982, then to AVDP. Sold to WCR, then in October 2000 overhauled for crew car use and coded VPAY 1 on SCT services and owned by Freight Australia. Was later sold to Pacific National and subsequently scrapped 2016.
