247-0654 viewsCape Lambert fuel point, Robe River locomotive 9410 which is a Goninan WA ALCo to GE rebuild CM40-8M with serial 2160-03 / 96-202 from March 1996 riding on Dofasco bogies and was originally a Comeng NSW built M636 ALCo serial C-6096-5 and built new for Mt Newman Mining (later BHP Iron Ore) in November 1975 and numbered 5500. Everything below the frame is ALCo, with the Comeng build style flat fuel tank, while above is GE and Pilbara Cab. Approximate location of the locos is here. 22nd May 2002.

245-1254 viewsWudinna, north bound empty grain train arrives behind a trio of former Australian National locomotives with rebuilt former AE Goodwin ALCo model DL531 830 class ex 839, serial 83730, rebuilt by Port Augusta Workshops to DA class, DA 4 leading two AE Goodwin ALCo model DL531 830 class units 842, serial 84140 and 851 serial 84137, 851 having been on the Eyre Peninsula since delivered in 1962, to shunt off empty waggons into the grain siding. 7th April 2003.

130710 101054 viewsParkeston, SCT train 3PG1 operating from Perth to Melbourne, PQCY 824 was originally built by Victorian Railways Newport Workshops in 1973 as one of four hundred and twenty five FQX type 60' 3TEU container flat waggons, it was recoded to VQCX before private ownership and reclassed PQCY type. PQCY 824 is now fitted with bulkheads and here loaded its own gates, and an SCT half height curtain sider 40' container SCT 1004 double stacked with Hamburg Sud 40' 45G1 type container HASU 411182.
