110620 2019r17 viewsWalla Siding, empty BHP ore waggon 9081, renumbered from 2710, originally built in 1971 by Comeng WA as part of a batch of four hundred waggons. The renumbering would be due to a new waggon replacing a potential scrap waggon, which then has been returned to service. 20th of June 2011.

030712 14324717 viewsNelson Point, empty BHP ore waggon 9024, originally built by Comeng in Mittagong NSW as a part of seven prototype ore waggons made from low carbon 301 stainless steel with an higher volume and aerodynamic flat sides and were bogieless with four independent radial wheel sets. Of the seven waggon, the first four had a flat floor and final three had a drop belly floor. The radial wheel sets were later replaced with conventional bogies. This view shows the reduced gap between waggons reduced from 1084 to 934 mm to aid the aerodynamics. 12th of July 2003.

It is one of four C630 ALCo units purchased in 1974 and delivered to Robe in January 1975. Everything below the frame is ALCo while above is GE and Pilbara Cab. The blue 230 sign is the indication that there is 230 waggons in clear at that point. Approximate location. 24th April 2004.

Goninan GE rebuild unit 5656 a CM40-8M unit with serial number 8412-01 / 94-147 sits on shed with a sister units. This facility was used to service and fuel locomotives while their respective waggon rakes were being tipped through the car dumpers. 22nd April 2000.

Rebuilt in 1987 at Goninan's Welshpool factory from a 1968 AE Goodwin built ALCo C636 with serial number G6012-4 and road number 5455 and assigned new serial number 4839-01 / 87-071. It was delivered in Mount Newman Mining orange and was named Mt Goldsworthy. 5506 was the first unit in the world where an ALCo C636 had been rebuilt into an GE C36-7. Late 2001.
