253-32274 viewsNelson Point yard sees BHP dumper pilot locomotives 5666 'Taranto', a Goninan GE rebuild CM40-8MEFI model with serial 8412-11 / 94-157, 5666 was the first unit fitted with Electronic Fuel Injection to the 16FDL engine hence the EFI on the model designation, and in the background with compressor set #2 is 5633 which was a new build CM39-8 GE model by Goninan. A sharp eye will notice the difference in the fuel tanks of the two locomotives.
