246-09319 viewsCape Lambert, yard view of the then new extension to the south for the West Angelas mine was coming on stream as a Robe River loaded Deepdale train arrives on the main behind the standard quad Dash 8 power with 202 waggons, the just visible siding (rejoining) on the far left will become a compressor waggon holding road, the 6 km and Boat Beach Rd grade crossing are around the corner to the left. Closest to the camera is the extended No. 1 Road which becomes the Empty Car Line from car dumper one for the Deepdale traffic. Next is the original line or Mainline and the third line across is the Loaded Car Line for the West Angelas traffic to the new car dumper 2. 22nd May 2002.

256-35319 viewsAt the 89.6 km grade crossing the loaded train behind the quad CM40-8M working of 9414, 9420, 9410 and 9425 rolls across the crossing and heads down the 1.26 percent grade. 9410 (2nd) was built by Comeng NSW as an ALCo M636 model in November 1975 with serial number C6098-05 for Mount Neman Mining with road number 5500, it was sent to Goninan but not rebuilt. Eventually sold to Robe and rebuilt by Goninan WA to an CM40-8M model in March 1996 with serial number 2160-03/96-202. May 2002.

In BP Oil ownership. I think this is an Indeng Qld built NTAF 455 the final of seven such tanks built for Mobil of NSW in 1981.

190109 1424319 viewsBinduli, AQHY 30051 with CSA 0111, originally built by the WAGR Midland Workshops in 1964/66 as a WF type flat waggon, then in 1997, following several recodes and modifications, was one of seventy five waggons converted to the WQH type to carry CSA sulphuric acid tanks between Hampton/Kalgoorlie and Perth/Kwinana. CSA 0111 was built by Vcare Engineering, India for Access Petrotec & Mining Solutions.
