100822 627596 viewsWOB type iron ore waggon WOB 31400 is one of a batch of twenty five built by Comeng WA between 1974 and 1975 and converted from Mt Newman high sided waggons by WAGR Midland Workshops with a capacity of 67 tons with fleet number 324 for Koolyanobbing iron ore operations. This waggon was also converted to a WSM type ballast hopper by re-fitting the cut down top section and having bottom discharge doors fitted, converted back to WOB in 1998, on empty train 1416 at Hampton, 22nd August 2010.

PD 1259096 viewsWest Kalgoorlie, AOPY type iron ore waggon AOPY 32409 with fleet number 938, one of seventy ex ANR coal waggons rebuilt from AOKF class by Bluebird Engineering SA in service with ARG on Koolyanobbing iron ore trains. They used to be three metres longer and originally built by Metropolitan Cammell Britain as GB class in 1952-55.

PD 1260796 viewsBinduli, WO type iron ore waggon WO 31209 is leader of a batch of sixty two built by Goninan WA between April and August 2000 with serial number 950086-001 and fleet number 105 for Koolyanobbing iron ore operations, and is a Goninan built replacement WO type waggon with a build date of 05/2000, this replaces the original WAGR built WO type waggon with a WOD type with square features opposed to the curved ones as on the original WO. Also note the angled lip extension to the top of the body.

Sold to West Coast Railway mid 1990s, converted to crew car after 2004.

Converted to ECA type crew car in 1991. Seen here under GWA ownership on loan to Pacific National and in use on East-West freighters. Finally it was scrapped at Dry Creek in December 2014.
