Ballarat yard, semaphore signal Post 7 controlled from Ballarat East Signal Box, which can be seen in the background, image taken from point 'Y', goods arrival and departure roads at right with passenger lines at far right. This reduced signal post now only contains the Up Home Up Passenger Line to No. 1 Road to Post 4 at Ballarat East platform and the Calling On Up Passenger Line to No. 1 Road. The stripped left hand mast was for movements from the Goods Departure Road and the Goods Sidings.
