Ballarat, looking towards Lydiard St from Armstrong St bridge, semaphore signal Posts 30 and 30A, 30A are 'co-acting' signals for Post 30, operated from Ballarat Signal Box B at Lydiard St, this junction goes from double track to triple and used to be four roads through the station building. The manual interlocked gates of Lydiard St are just visible through the road overbridge. Left hand Arm Up Home Up Line to 'A' to Post 29 for No. 4 Road, middle Arm Up Home Up Line to 'B' to Post 27 or 28 for No. 3 or 2 Roads and the right Arm Up Home Up Line to 'C' to Post 26 for No. 1 Road.
