213-17146 viewsWeipa, Lorim Point workshops, Comalco R 1001 loco Clyde Engineering built EMD model GT26C serial 72-752 sits at the fuel point, items of note are these units were setup to have the long hood leading, the second 'tropical roof' and the five chime horn cut into the nose. Also noticeable, the units don't have dynamic brakes fitted so there is no brake 'blister' in the middle of the hood like you see on the GT26C models of WAGR L or VR C classes.Oct 26, 2014
