030712 143222146 viewsNelson Point, empty BHP ore waggon 9025 with drop belly floor, originally built by Comeng in Mittagong NSW as a part of seven prototype ore waggons made from low carbon 301 stainless steel with an higher volume and aerodynamic flat sides and were bogieless with four independent radial wheel sets. Of the seven waggon, the first four had a flat floor and final three had a drop belly floor. The radial wheel sets were later replaced with conventional bogies. 12th of July 2003.

The renumbering would be due to a new waggon replacing a potential scrap waggon, which then has been returned to service. 20th of June 2011.

110620 2393r144 viewsWalla, loaded BHP ore waggon 3312, one of three hundred and fifty waggons built by Astra Vagoane in Arad Romania in 1988 under a deal with Lang Hancock and waggons for ore arrangement. Only sixty-six entered service. A feature is the fully round 'corners' and side joins. 20th of June 2011.

Visible is the ODCX code and number 82190 from the Oroville Dam Construction company days in the USA. The DZ 11-95 code was the late time it was internally painted to reduce wear and the SL 76 with 90 below it was the last time the Miner SL-76 draft gear was replaced. The orange smiley sticker indicates that this is an original 'Oroville Dam' ore waggon and non relayed AB braked. 12th of July 2003.
