246-26376 viewsCape Lambert, a Robe River loaded Deepdale train rolls along the mainline behind the standard quad Dash 8 power with 202 waggons with newly extended roads either side of it. 9425 which is a Goninan WA ALCo to GE rebuild CM40-8M with serial 6266-8 / 89-85 from August 1989 riding on Hi-Ad bogies and was originally an AE Goodwin built M636 ALCo serial C-6041-4 and built new for Mt Newman Mining (later BHP Iron Ore) in April 1970 and numbered 5468, sold to Robe and delivered by road 17th August 1982. Everything below the frame is ALCo while above is GE and Pilbara Cab. 22nd May 2002.

Location is roughly here. 24th November 2001.

267-28376 views39 km Newman line, Goninan rebuild CM40-8M unit 5634 'Boodarie' serial number 8151-07 / 91-120 slows as it brings the Sundowner special to a stop at the 39 km detector site on the Newman mainline.
The trailing unit is 5653.
This was a special for the 25 years of the Alstom / BHP service agreement.
Friday 12th of April 2002.

In 1975 it was purchased by the Society and is named after a local river. July 1, 2024.
