248-06322 viewsDingo Siding on the Hamersley Iron railway at the 39 km with an empty train headed up by a pair of General Electric built Dash 9-44CW units 9408 serial 54158 from the fourth order in 2003 wearing the Pilbara Rail livery with Robe ownership markings. The blue 230 sign is the indication that there is 230 waggons in clear at that point. Approximate location. 24th April 2004.

248-21322 viewsSeven Mile yard, stored Robe River ALCo locomotives at the south end of the Hamersley Iron Seven Mile yard on roads N2 and N3. On N2 is a cab comparison between AE Goodwin built ALCo M636 unit 9412 serial G-6060-3 from December 1971 and originally numbered 262.003 during construction and then 1712 on MLW Dofasco bogies with C636R units 9427 a Comeng WA C636R rebuild from ALCo Schenectady NY model C636 serial 3499-2 originally built in January 1968 for Pennsylvania Railroad as #6331, Penn Central 6331 and finally Conrail 6781. Purchased in 1986 and rebuilt by Comeng WA into C636R before delivery to Robe in January 1987 riding on the ALCo Hi-Ad bogie. This loco also went on to become DR 8403 for construction of FMG's railway in 2007-08. Behind it on N3 is 9413. Approximate location. 24th April 2004.

251-05322 viewsNelson Point, BHP's recently retired Goninan WA ALCo C636 to GE C36-7M rebuild unit 5513 awaits its fate. Rebuilt in 1988 at Goninan's Welshpool factory from 1970 AE Goodwin built ALCo C636 with serial number G6012-2 and road number 5453 and assigned new serial number 4839-02 / 88-078. It was delivered in Mt Newman Mining orange and was named Kalgan. 22nd April 2000.

267-15322 viewsGoldsworthy Junction, the Sundowner Special is on the Newman mainline leg of the Goldsworthy Junction and triangle, with the Sundowner coach in between CM40-8M GE unit 5634 'Boodarie' serial number 8151-07 / 91-120 and sister CM40-8M 5653. This train, and the empty before it, were delayed due to a jamming switch for the transfer road where Tamper 2 and Ballast Regulator 31 can be seen holding track. The road curving around to the left is the Goldsworthy mainline to Boodarie and Finucane Island. Friday 12th of April 2002.
