246-35357 viewsCape Lambert, a Robe River loaded Deepdale train rolls along the mainline behind the standard quad Dash 8 power with 202 waggons which are a mix of builds from Nippon Sharyo Japan and Tomlinson Steel and Centurion Industries both WA companies. The ore is a ROM product and will be dumped over the gyratory crusher to be correctly sized. The newly extended roads can be seen either side of the train and in the distance can be seen are the railway workshops. 22nd May 2002.

At the time of this image Siding 3 or Murray Camp was unable to cross ore trains so Siding One - Harding or Siding Two - Maitland were used. May 2002.

267-15357 viewsGoldsworthy Junction, the Sundowner Special is on the Newman mainline leg of the Goldsworthy Junction and triangle, with the Sundowner coach in between CM40-8M GE unit 5634 'Boodarie' serial number 8151-07 / 91-120 and sister CM40-8M 5653. This train, and the empty before it, were delayed due to a jamming switch for the transfer road where Tamper 2 and Ballast Regulator 31 can be seen holding track. The road curving around to the left is the Goldsworthy mainline to Boodarie and Finucane Island. Friday 12th of April 2002.

220-31356 viewsGoldsworthy Junction, the afternoon empty departure for Yandi mine behind the standard double Dash 8 power consist of 5649 'Pohang' a Goninan GE rebuild CM40-8M model serial 8412-07 / 93-140 and a sister unit as the split the sticks, the line merging from the right is the former Goldsworthy line from Yarrie and Nimingarra mines. This area is now fully duplicated with LED signals and the Dash 8 units have been scrapped.
