267-20167 viewsGoldsworthy Junction, CM40-8M GE unit 5634 'Boodarie' serial number 8151-07 / 91-120 leads the Sundowner Special on the Newman mainline leg of the Goldsworthy Junction and triangle, with the Sundowner coach in the middle and sister CM40-8M 5653 bringing up the rear.
This train, and the empty before it, were delayed due to a jamming switch for the transfer road where Tamper 2 and Ballast Regulator 31 are holding track.
They can be seen behind the signal sitting on the transfer road.

Budd in 1939 numbered 301 as the Silver Star, a diner-parlour-observation coach on the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad's General Pershing Zephyr train from the 1930s and 1940s. Donated to Mt Newman Mining Co. by AMAX an original joint venture partner to commemorate the projects first 100 million tonnes of iron ore railed between Mount Whaleback mine and the Port Hedland port. 12th of April 2002.

283-32167 viewsNear Woodbrook as quad Robe River CM40-8M units 9414, 9420, 9410 and 9525 work a loaded 202 waggons bound for Cape Lambert as they power through the cutting up a short grade at the 37.5 km pipe bridge. 9414 with serial number 8206-11 / 91-124 was rebuilt by Goninan in 1991 from AE Goodwin built M636 ALCo model with original serial number G-6060-5 from 1971. 22nd of May 2002.
