May 2002.

Donated to the Society in 1978. 14th September 2020.

250-32317 viewsCape Lambert South Yard and Robe River's 9426 a Comeng WA rebuild from ALCo Schenectady NY model C636 serial 3499-3 originally built in January 1968 for Pennsylvania as #6332, Penn Central 6332 and finally Conrail 6782. Purchased in 1986 and rebuilt by Comeng WA into C636R before delivery to Robe in November 1986. This loco also went on to become DR 8401 for construction of FMG's railway in 2007-08. Seen here in the South Yard dragging a loaded rake down to the car dumper. 22nd October 2000.
