These units of Bo-Bo design with a 6CSRKT 640 kW prime mover and built at the Rocklea Qld plant. Donated to Society in 1995. 14th September 2020.

247-1187 viewsCape Lambert, Robe River's 9426 a Comeng WA rebuild from ALCo Schenectady NY model C636 serial 3499-3 originally built in January 1968 for Pennsylvania as #6332, Penn Central 6332 and finally Conrail 6782. Purchased in 1986 and rebuilt by Comeng WA into C636R before delivery to Robe in November 1986. This loco also went on to become DR 8401 for construction of FMG's railway in 2007-08. Seen here in the South Yard dragging a loaded rake down to the car dumper. Approximate location of train is here. 22nd May 2002.
