Budd in 1939 numbered 301 as the Silver Star as a diner-parlour-observation coach on the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad's General Pershing Zephyr train from the 1930s and 1940s. Donated to Mt Newman Mining Co. by AMAX an original joint venture partner to commemorate the projects first 100 million tonnes of iron ore railed between Mount Whaleback mine and the Port Hedland port.

The compressors have been fitted to a swing cradle to limit the in-train forces during the unloading process. 7 Mile 23rd July 2006.

The ore is a ROM product and will be dumped over the gyratory crusher to be correctly sized. The newly extended roads can be seen either side of the train and in the distance can be seen are the railway workshops. 22nd May 2002.
